BEAUTIFUL, PAINFUL, DELIBERATE
This is our journey.
Brandon Michael was laid off in 2020 and, what began as a string of honey-do tasks for neighbors, soon grew into a string of referrals. Candor UpKeep Handyman Services, LLC was birthed to formalize the network of relationships we cultivated with other hand-picked specialists in the area.
BE HONEST
The name comes from Candor, as in “integrity in action,” and UpKeep, as in ticking off that checklist of tasks “you’ll get around to eventually” to keep your home in good condition. Courtney joined him at the altar forming a husband/wife duo that set out to influence the culture through service.

Soon the couple began working in the Topeka area before looking to fill a need they discovered in greater Kansas City. At first, the goal was to find clients looking to keep their homes running. These maintenance contracts have grown to include an additional focus on water system mineralization and filtration systems installation.
